[KOGAS Press release/July 12, 2024] The Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) convened a pivotal gathering at the Benicia Hotel in Busan over two days July 11-12, aimed at stakeholders utilizing its natural gas pipeline network and manufacturing facilities.
The conference, attended by a total of around 70 participants, featured representatives from KOGAS, 16 major companies utilizing the pipelines and manufacturing facilities such as POSCO and Korea Midland Power, as well as officials from the Private LNG Industry Association.
During the event, KOGAS outlined its operational plans for 2024 regarding the management of pipeline and manufacturing facilities, including fee structures. Crucially, the forum provided a platform for facility users to voice their perspectives on optimizing the facility usage system.
An official from the Korea Gas Corporation emphasized, "With increasing demand for our pipeline and manufacturing facilities, we have established this forum to address key concerns among users, including rates and operational procedures." The official further stated, "KOGAS remains committed to enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive communication efforts."
