[HMM Press release/ June 19, 2024] Hanwha Ocean conducted a formal naming ceremony on 19th at Okpo Shipyard for the "HMM Ruby”, a 13,000 TEU-class container ship commissioned by HMM.

This vessel marks the seventh of a total of twelve such containerships, with six from Hanwha Ocean and the remainder from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, as part of a contract agreed upon in June 2021.

The ‘HMM Ruby’is set to serve exclusively on the Pacific South Express (PSX), which is HMM's primary route connecting to the U.S. West Coast.
