[Yonhap/ May 7, 2025] HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) has signed a contract worth KRW 251.1 billion for the construction of two new crude oil tankers, the company announced on the 7th.

The vessels were ordered by an undisclosed African-based shipping company and will be constructed at HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, a subsidiary of HD KSOE. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
