[KOGAS Press release/June 12, 2025] The Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) hosted its “2025 Facility User Workshop” on Jeju Island over a two-day period from June 11 to 12, aiming to enhance transparency and improve customer-centered systems amid rising demand for its natural gas pipeline and manufacturing facilities.
Launched in 2016, the annual workshop had been paused after 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resuming only last year. This year’s event gathered more than 50 participants representing 13 companies that utilize KOGAS’s infrastructure.
The workshop served as a platform for KOGAS to share operational plans for 2025, explain fee structures, offer guidance on meter operations, and introduce updates to its information provision system for facility use. Company officials also engaged directly with industry representatives to collect feedback and explore improvements in system operations.
A KOGAS official emphasized the corporation’s commitment to user collaboration, stating, “We will continue to actively communicate with facility users to further increase customer satisfaction, thereby operating natural gas pipes and manufacturing facilities more fairly and efficiently.”
