[KOGAS Press release/ November 18, 2024] The Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) held its annual 2025 KOGAS Corporate Partnership Forum on November 18 at the Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center, bringing together 35 small and medium-sized partner companies, including HS Valve Co., Ltd.

Aligned with the government’s initiative for “balanced growth where everyone prospers,” the forum featured a range of programs such as presentations on SME shared-growth strategies, briefings on current shared-growth initiatives, introductions to major overseas business projects, and discussions on potential joint ventures abroad.

To further support SME competitiveness, KOGAS organized 36 one-on-one purchase consultations between its procurement divisions and SME representatives. These sessions aim to invigorate the SME TechMarket, a government-supported online platform that enables public institutions to identify, verify, and support high-potential SME technologies and products.

KOGAS expects the consultations to yield tangible outcomes for SMEs struggling to enter new markets despite possessing strong technological capabilities.

“We will continue to pursue practical shared-growth initiatives by strengthening communication and cooperation with our SME partners,” a KOGAS official said.

Since 2012, KOGAS has operated the KOGAS Corporate Partnership Council, a communication and information-sharing body involving 270 companies, to enhance SME management capabilities and reinforce collaboration between the corporation and its suppliers.
