[KOGAS Press release/ December 12, 2025] Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) announced on December 11 that it signed a natural gas sales contract under the Individual Pricing Scheme with Korea South-East Power Co. (KOEN) at its headquarters in Daegu. Under the agreement, KOGAS will supply 290,000 tons of natural gas annually for 10 yearsfrom 2027 to 2036to the Bundang Power Division of KOEN, totaling 2.9 million tons.

Leveraging its top-tier price competitiveness and supply stability, KOGAS has successfully secured KOEN as another Individual Pricing Scheme customer, following the contracts signed earlier this year with Korea Western Power in June, Korea Southern Power in September, and Korea Midland Power in November.

The Individual Pricing Scheme was introduced in 2020 to enhance the stability of natural gas supply and to reduce costs by improving the utilization rate of facilities. KOEN is known to have opted for the scheme because the Bundang Power Division is a key facility responsible for electricity generation in the Seoul metropolitan area, requiring both supply stability and cost competitiveness.

KOGAS has now reached a cumulative annual contract volume of approximately 3.89 million tons under the Individual Pricing Scheme and plans to continue expanding its supply in the future.
