[Yonhap/ October 2, 2024] HD Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., a key subsidiary of HD Hyundai, announced on October 2 that it has finalized contracts for the construction of multiple vessels with Asian and Oceanian shipping companies.

 

 

The contracts include two ultra-large ethane carriers (ULECs), two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers, and one liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker ship, totaling KRW 881.4 billion.

 

The ULECs will be constructed at HD Hyundai Samho, with a delivery deadline set for September 2027.

 

The LPG carriers are slated to be built at HD Hyundai Mipo, with delivery to the shipowner expected by July 2027.

 

Additionally, the LNG bunkering ship will also be constructed at HD Hyundai Mipo, scheduled for completion by May 2027.
