[Yonhap/ April 28, 2025] Hanwha Ocean said on 28th it has secured a 371 billion-won (US$257.7 million) order to build two very large crude carriers (VLCCs) from an Oceanian shipper.
The VLCCs will be delivered to the undisclosed shipping company by July 2027, the shipbuilder said.
So far this year, Hanwha Ocean has bagged US$3 billion worth of orders to build 14 vessels, including six VLCCs, six container ships and two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.
