This annual evaluation, conducted by the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea, measures how well 1,426 public entities — including central government bodies, local governments, and state-run enterprises — comply with personal data protection at laws.

KOGAS stood out among a select group of only 45 institutions (just 5.7% of those evaluated) that earned the top grade. The company was recognized for its strong performance across several key areas, including the establishment of a dedicated privacy protection organization, robust training and awareness programs, and high standards in managing personal information processes.
